Eliminating a bathroom for a closet?

Question:  I live in south Georgia. When the previous people built our house (1800sq.ft.) they took away from 2 bedrooms to put a halfbath (sink/tolite) between, leaving 2 small bedrooms less than 11x12. I am thinking about removing the halfbath, which will enlarge one bed room and make room for a larger closet. My Questions is: 2small bedrooms w/halfbath or larger bedrooms w/larget closets?

Jake's Answer:  This a very difficult question to answer.  As often is the case for a question like this, the answer is " it depends".  How many other baths are there in the house?  How close is the closest bathroom to these two small bedrooms.  Are the bedrooms used mostly for guests or children.  This might determine how critical additional closet space is needed.  The half bath will carry more value but then the closet may make more sense if there is another bathroom near by.  If you can't find a solution talk with an architect that may be able to find a suitable solution for you.
