Sun room conversion
I would like to know if an enclosed sunroom can be remodeled into a bathroom. I have a 14 x 10 foot enclosed sunroom off the master bedroom that doesn't get a lot of use. The enclosed sunroom is off the ground with the floor joist running opposite of the bedroom floor joists. Our current master bath is only 7 x 6 with no real options to expand that area.
We have some vent pipes that are not being used due to a new high effiency furance. Can we run the drain lines from the sunroom in the old vent pipes to the main drain pipe?
Any help would be appreciated.

Ron,
I don't see a problem with converting your sunroom into a bathroom, we have done similar jobs on several occasions. Be very careful with your pipes below your floor joists as they can easily freeze if they are not properly protected from the cold weather. As far as running your drain lines in your old vent pipes, I don't see the need to do something like this. Use the old vent lines to run some heat out to the sun room.
