Cover up
I have a basement that the previous owners put outdoor wood siding on the inside walls. It is individual boards, kinda like tongue and grove. Can I put sheet rock over the top of it? Or do I need to remove it before starting a remodel?

Jackie,
If you are not needing to add any wiring or insulation to the walls, I see no problem with installing the drywall right on top of the existing paneling. As long as the paneling is well fastened and is straight, it should work just fine. Good luck.
