Knotty pine paneling
We are removing the 1950's knotty pine panelling from 3 bedrooms. What price could we ask for it? It is in good condition.

Jean,
I don't know what part of the country that you are from, but in our area (Kansas City) I would think that it has little if any salvage value. It can be very difficult to remove from the studs without splitting it. We have removed plenty of it over the years, and most of it lands up in a dumpster. Maybe one of the reasons it has no value is because it was so widely used and is now dated, most people do not want to ever see it in their house again. You can always try Ebay or Craig's List to see if you can get any interest. Good luck.
